The two partners in Flying Unicorn Entertainment, Ashi Dua and Aliya Rashid are both young students of film, looking to create a unique space within the Indian television scene. Passionate about the film and television industry, they started of FUE in November of 2006 to try and create a brand with more substance and a knack for the intellectual exploration into the subject of Indian cinema.
Ashi Dua had worked in various capacities at Roots Events, NDTV Delhi and finally Percept Picture Company. She brings to the table her knowledge of the entertainment biz, complimenting her passion for television with her vast experience in the field.
Aliya Rashid, a graduate of Film Studies from Canada, worked as a film journalist for DNA in Mumbai, before venturing out with Flying Unicorn. Her creative sensibilities honed by her international background bring to the table a balanced approach to content creation, providing a unique perspective on what seems to be ‘the same old thing’ in Indian cinema and TV.
